Where that range comes from

Every price in the table is ex-showroom, the figure before road tax, registration and the rest of it. Road tax is set by the state you register in rather than by the maker, so what you actually hand over moves with where you live.

This one is sold in a single variant, so that range is geography and nothing else: the same car, priced in each of the 19 states whose rates we hold.

Of the 19 states we can price it in, 11 of them are level at the lowest and Assam comes out highest. That is ₹1,31,55,655 against ₹1,49,75,655, a difference of ₹18,20,000 on the identical car. You register where you live, so read that as a reason to check the quote you were given, not as somewhere cheaper to buy.

Comprehensive own-damage cover sits on top of all of it. That has been market-priced since 2007 and moves with the insurer and your no-claim bonus, so budget for it from real quotes rather than from any number here.
