Which Jeep Meridian variant should you buy?
There are 9 ways to buy a Meridian, across 4 trims, from ₹23.33L to ₹37.92L ex-showroom Delhi.
Pound for pound the ladder pays best at Limited (O): ₹4.15L more than Longitude Plus, and no rung you pay extra for hands back more kit per rupee.
Above that, the one to think hardest about is Overland. At ₹5.60L over Limited (O) it asks the most per feature of anything higher up the range, so take it because you want what it adds, not because it is next.
How this is worked out: every step below compares the cheapest way into one trim with the cheapest way into the next, then weighs what the money buys against what it costs. No opinion is added on top, and nothing is rounded in a trim's favour. Read the full method.
What each step up actually buys

The dearest step above that one for what it adds. Worth it only if you want this kit specifically.

- ADASLevel 2 (core suite)
- Cruise control
Where the kit that matters lands
- Airbags: all 6 are standard from the base Longitude, so nobody has to spend up for them.
- Safety kit: Overland, from ₹36.05L, is the cheapest trim with every safety feature this car offers at its best. Spending past it buys comfort and cosmetics, not protection.
- Automatic: the cheapest is the Longitude Diesel AT at ₹27.53L. See it
Then there is the engine
Picking the trim is only half of it. The Meridian is sold with 2 powertrains, and the cheapest way into each is a different amount of money.

| Diesel170 PS | Longitude₹23.33L | 6-speed manual |

Jeep Meridian: the questions people ask
- How many Jeep Meridian variants are there, and what do they cost?
- 9 variants across 4 trims, from ₹23.33L for the Longitude Diesel MT to ₹37.92L for the Overland Diesel AT, ex-showroom Delhi.
- Which Jeep Meridian is the base model, and what does it cost?
- The Longitude, from ₹23.33L ex-showroom Delhi, is where the Meridian range starts. Kit you get even here: dual-zone climate control, 10.1 inch touchscreen and rear camera. What you give up against the top Overland: no ADAS, no 360° camera and no blind spot monitor, and 15 more.
- Which Jeep Meridian is the top model, and what does it cost?
- The Overland tops the range at ₹36.05L to ₹37.92L ex-showroom Delhi. Over the base Longitude it adds level 2 (core suite) ADAS, 360° camera and blind spot monitor, and 15 more.
- Which Jeep Meridian variant gives the most for the money?
- Moving up to Limited (O) costs ₹4.15L over Longitude Plus, and no other rung you pay extra for buys more per rupee: 360° camera, SOS call, speakers (9 against 6) and Alpine premium sound system, and 7 more.
- Is the Overland worth it?

Prices are Jeep's own ex-showroom figures, read 6 August 2026, and Jeep quotes one price for the whole country: Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai all come back the same, so there is no city figure to pick between. One thing to know before you shortlist the cheapest one: the Longitude seats five, not seven, because Jeep leaves its third row out to free up boot space, and every trim above it seats seven. We can record only one seat count per car, so the number you see is the seven that three of the four trims carry. Features per trim follow Jeep's official brochure, corrected from Jeep's own booking flow where the brochure has gone stale on which trims offer 4x4. Jeep publishes no certified economy figure per gearbox, so none is shown. The Trail Edition and Track Edition are styling packages over the Limited (O) and the Overland and are not listed here. Verify with a Jeep dealer before buying.
