Our take

The real reason to pay ₹0.28L more for the Seltos X-Line(O): level 2 (full suite) ADAS, 360° camera and blind spot monitor. The useful extras on top: touchscreen (12.3" against 10.25") and powered driver seat (8-way against 6-way). The rest of the additions are minor trim. At that price, we would stretch.

  • The Creta Electric is electric, so it will be the cheapest of these to run
  • The Creta Electric Smart (O) LR is the strongest of the two at 171 PS
  • Also on the Seltos X-Line(O): JBL system with Dolby Atmos, tri-screen cabin layout, ventilated front seats and head-up display, and some minor trim beyond that
  • Going to the Seltos X-Line(O), you give up SOS emergency call (E-call / B-call), hill descent control and auto headlamps, which the Creta Electric Smart (O) LR keeps
Choose the Hyundai Creta Electric Smart (O) LR if
You would rather keep the ₹0.28L than pay for kit you will not miss, and the EV running costs seal it
Choose the Kia Seltos X-Line(O) if
You will do long stints in this car and want the daily comforts
