What owners and testers say

Independent evidence only. Never the maker’s own marketing.

+ Six airbags standard across the range on the current car, which is rare this far down the price list+ Long-term testers report it shrugging off big distances with nothing beyond routine servicing+ The CVT is unusually smooth in traffic for its class, and has held up well in long-term useTwo stars for child occupant protection is the weakest part of its crash result, and no newer test existsThe turbo CVT is thirsty in town, with two publishers measuring roughly 10 to 11.5 km/l in city drivingSmall annoyances reported in long-term use, including a trip meter that resets on its own

What this car actually returns

Turbo Petrol automatic: owners and testers see around 11 to 13 km/l

Two publishers have measured this one, and they agree: in town the turbo CVT returns somewhere around 10 to 11.5 km/l, which is a long way under the sticker. It stretches its legs on the highway, where one of them saw 15.56 km/l. Air conditioning in high summer costs it dearly, with one long-term tester recording as little as 7 km/l on the worst days.

Why there is no overall score

Scores are our reading of published, independent evidence, not the manufacturer's, and we deliberately publish no single overall rating: a car can be excellent on safety and weak on resale, and one number would hide that. How we score, and how makers can respond.
