Our take

The real reason to pay ₹0.47L more for the Syros EV X-Line: all-wheel disc brakes, JBL system with Dolby Atmos and tri-screen cabin layout. The useful extras on top: touchscreen (12.3" against 10.25") and vehicle-to-load (V2L). The rest of the additions are minor trim. At that price, we would stretch.

  • The Syros EV is electric, so it will be the cheapest of these to run
  • Also on the Syros EV X-Line: rear ventilated seats, electronic parking brake + auto hold, auto-folding wing mirrors and regenerative braking, and some minor trim beyond that
  • Going to the Syros EV X-Line, you give up hill descent control, powered driver seat (6-way against 4-way) and terrain modes, which the Thar Roxx AX7L keeps
Choose the Mahindra Thar Roxx AX7L if
You would rather keep the ₹0.47L than pay for kit you will not miss
Choose the Kia Syros EV X-Line if
You live on your phone in the car and want the screens to keep up
