Our take

The real reason to pay ₹1.51L more for the Windsor EV Essence Pro: level 2 (core suite) ADAS, 360° camera and all-wheel disc brakes. The useful extras on top: hill descent control and touchscreen (15.6" against 10.1"). The rest of the additions are minor trim. At that price, we would stretch.

  • The e Vitara Zeta is the strongest of the two at 174 PS
  • Also on the Windsor EV Essence Pro: SOS emergency call (E-call / B-call), JBL system with Dolby Atmos, single-pane sunroof and ventilated front seats, and some minor trim beyond that
  • Going to the Windsor EV Essence Pro, you give up airbags (7 against 6), front parking sensors and driver display (10.25" digital against 7" digital), which the e Vitara Zeta keeps
Choose the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Zeta if
You would rather keep the ₹1.51L than pay for kit you will not miss, and the EV running costs seal it
Choose the MG Windsor EV Essence Pro if
You will do long stints in this car and want the daily comforts
