The way in at Rs 9.99 lakh, and Hyundai has priced nothing above it yet. You get the full safety set every Bayon has, six airbags, ESC, hill start and tyre pressure monitoring, and the same 115 PS engine as the dearest one. What you don't get is a screen, a camera or a single speaker, and the spare wheel is a puncture kit. Fine if the price is the point; the HX 3 is the first one with a touchscreen, once Hyundai says what it costs.
What Hyundai is like to own
We have not reviewed the Bayon itself yet. This is Hyundai ownership generally, which applies whichever of its cars you buy.

Why there is no overall score
Scores are our reading of published, independent evidence, not the manufacturer's, and we deliberately publish no single overall rating: a car can be excellent on safety and weak on resale, and one number would hide that. How we score, and how makers can respond.

How the Hyundai Bayon is sold
The engine question is one you can skip here: the Hyundai Bayon is sold exactly one way, so there is no fuel or gearbox to weigh up before you start on trims.
- What fuel does the Hyundai Bayon run on?
- The one Bayon on sale is a petrol, at ₹10.00L for the HX 2 Petrol MT, ex-showroom. It is manual only, so if you were after an automatic, this one does not offer it.
