What Rajasthan charges, by fuel
Road tax is the one-time tax a state charges when a new car is registered, worked out as a share of the ex-showroom price. It is most of the gap between the price you see and the price you pay.

- Engine size moves the rate here: above 800 cc the rate is 9% of the price instead of 6%, which at ₹19.03 lakh ex-showroom is ₹57,090 more road tax.
