What owners and testers say

Independent evidence only. Never the maker’s own marketing.

+ Five stars from Bharat NCAP with 31.66 of 32 for adults, and a separate five-star Global NCAP result on top+ Maruti's first car with Level 2 ADAS, alongside six airbags, a 360 degree camera and a tyre pressure monitor+ The 1.5 litre K15C engine has years of service in other Maruti cars behind it, which reviewers rate as a reason to expect few surprisesThe 103hp naturally aspirated petrol feels strained at highway speeds with the car full of people and luggageThe rear bench is tight for three adults, with a floor hump and under-thigh support reviewers found lackingNo variant gets a spare wheel as standard, only a puncture repair kit, with the spare sold as an accessory

What this car actually returns

Petrol Mild Hybrid: owners and testers see around 11.5 to 18 km/l

Two publishers have measured the AWD automatic and they disagree sharply: Autocar India averaged 11.78 km/l, CarWale 16.1 km/l. Neither is wrong. This engine is very sensitive to traffic, and the gap between a clear road and a jammed one is wider here than the certified 19.07 km/l suggests. Budget nearer the low figure if your driving is mostly city. No independent measurement was found for the strong hybrid or the front-drive mild hybrid.

Why there is no overall score

Scores are our reading of published, independent evidence, not the manufacturer's, and we deliberately publish no single overall rating: a car can be excellent on safety and weak on resale, and one number would hide that. How we score, and how makers can respond.

How the Maruti Suzuki Victoris is sold, and what each way costs

You can have the Victoris as petrol, CNG or hybrid, with a manual or an automatic gearbox. That pair narrows the list before any trim does, so it is the thing to settle first.

Is there a petrol Maruti Suzuki Victoris, and what does it cost?
Yes. The cheapest is the LXi Petrol Mild Hybrid MT at ₹10.50L ex-showroom Delhi, and 13 of the 21 variants are petrol.
